What makes The Play Patch special?

The Play Patch is a welcoming summer camp designed for school-age children aged 5–12. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can explore their creativity, build friendships, and stay active during the summer.

At The Play Patch, children participate in a variety of hands-on activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, nature exploration, group challenges, and creative play. Each day is designed to encourage curiosity, teamwork, and confidence while making sure every child has fun and feels included.

With a background in childcare, our focus is on creating a supportive space where children can learn, grow, and enjoy memorable summer experiences.

At The Play Patch, children will enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the day. These include arts and crafts, creative play, outdoor games, nature walks, team challenges, and storytelling. Kids will have opportunities to explore their creativity, build friendships, and stay active while learning teamwork and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

We focus on hands-on experiences and outdoor play, ensuring children stay active and engaged throughout the summer. Our goal is to create a space where kids can explore, learn, and build confidence while having fun.

We want children to make new friends, explore their creativity, stay active, and build positive memories during their summer. Most importantly, we hope they feel supported, included, and free to learn and grow while having fun.

Meet our founder 

Hi, I’m Shavneet, the founder of The Play Patch. With experience working in childcare, I’ve always enjoyed helping children learn, grow, and express themselves through play and creativity. I created The Play Patch to give school-age children a fun, safe, and welcoming place to spend their summer.

 

My goal is to create an environment where kids can build friendships, explore their creativity, stay active, and develop confidence while enjoying meaningful and memorable summer experiences.
